Fragmented Fridays

Warning:
I am writing this under the influence of grouch or what my husband refers to as my B.A. (bad attitude).

I don’t need much, just a few moments a day to call my own where my brain can be all for me. I can think about whatever I want to think about, sit in silence, blog, or do whatever I damn please. Woe is me! Today I haven’t had that and it pisses me off. No one is to blame, it’s just the way the day turned out and I’m irritated because my husband will be home any minute and then “my time” will be over. Pity me. PITY ME!

It seems that every week I have a poop story to share with you. Well, not this week! Glory be, there is no poo poo tale for you. I did get puked on today and peed on two days ago, but no poop.

Last week, I shared that I was worried about my work situation. This week I have good news to share. The contract for my work from home job has been extended. Oh and that’s not all. I got a call from a former employer asking if I would be interested in coming in and doing some temp office work. When I said I’d love to, but do not have childcare, I was told I could bring Put Pie to work with me. So I did. The Universe is abundant.

Really, the Universe is abundant. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been worried about finances and then a job materializes out of the clear blue for me. I am grateful.

My friend M from M and the two Henrys is giving away a gDiaper Starter Kit. Stop by and enter or if you know anyone with a little one please let them know.

I started blogging because I needed a creative outlet, but I had no idea what I was getting myself into. It’s been truly amazing. I didn’t realize how interactive blogging is or that I would forge so many genuine connections with other bloggers. Because I am a mom I guess I am considered a “Mommy (I like to think of it as Mami) Blogger” and I’ve made many online connections with other Mommy Bloggers and it’s been fantastic! Finding like-minded people is always wonderful, but I value diversity like you would not believe. Variety is the spice of life. All this to say, that I want to give some shout outs to the truly wonderful male bloggers I’ve had the pleasure of meeting.

No excuse, No explanation.. : Creative, witty, and just plain fun.
IndigoWrath: Charming, well-traveled, interesting.
Naked Soul: Deep.
The Truth About Me-self: Honest and heartfelt.
The Big G: Great writing.
John and Steve are Having a Baby: Hilarious.
A Few Clowns Short: Eclectic and wise.

This weekend if you have the chance please stop by and give the brothers some love. You won’t be disappointed.

Have a fantastic weekend and I hope you get some “me time”. Who am I kidding? I hope I get some “me time”.

Friday Fragments?

Wonderful news about the job!Thank gosh you weren’t pooped on! hahaI
know what you mean about blogging. I am not a Mommy Blogger, but my
experiences blogging are the same as most Mommy Bloggers. It’s funny how
so many people used to talk badly about people who met online, and now
women all over the world are meeting in real life due to their online
    friendships.Happy FF!

thanks for the shout out. You wrote such great words, “Eclectic and
wise”. Believe or not, eclectic is a favorite word of mind (do you have
favorite words?). A local community college used to have an eclectic
picnic which featured all types of jazz and blues.People that don’t blog or read blogs have a difficult time understanding the attraction of it.thanks and all the best.

I used to get up at the crack of dawn to claim some “me” time. Now that
my girls are teenagers – I may even have too much of it! None of life’s
as as fun as it should be without the balance. “Me” time is a gift to
your whole family. PS – I like “Mami blogger” too.

I have to say that every time I read the heading of your blog I call it
“Unknown Miami” — Once I get something like that stuck in my head it
never goes away – so Hello Unknown Miami! :)I haven’t met too many make bloggers. I will indeed check them out. Thanks!I
must have alone time. I don’t have children so you’d think it would be
easy to have some alone time…not true. If I don’t get to be alone I
    become…not a friendly person 🙂 It’s just too painful to describe. I
hope you got some alone time and I’m happy that you didn’t have a poop
story. Hopefully that means you didn’t any on you this past week :)Kristin – The Goat
