Fresh Produce

I love clothes. Love them! I get excited about wearing something new, but lately I haven’t been getting very many new clothes. I’m having a hard time adjusting to the way my body and my lifestyle have changed since having two kids. I still love low-rise skinny jeans, but I don’t really fit into them the same way I used to and with all the bending over that being a mother of a 3 and 1-year-old requires, I need something that covers what’s supposed to be covered if you know what I mean.

Dresses are becoming my go to item of clothing. I’m always on the lookout for a great dress that I can wear around the kids that is comfortable and makes me look like I put a little effort into getting dressed.

When I was asked by Fresh Produce Clothing if I would be interested in reviewing one of their items all I had to do was take a quick look at their selection of spring dresses for women to know that the answer would be, “Yes!”

I could have gone with a cotton beach dress or one of their beach cover-ups, but remember, I need something that will fit my Unknown Mami lifestyle, so in the end I chose their twist front dress.

This dress is perfect for me. It has a great cut that is flattering, but comfortable. The length of the sleeves works perfectly for San Francisco weather, which is usually mild. My favorite part of the dress is the twist front because I’m still breastfeeding and it lends itself perfectly to that without having to stretch the top out of shape. It just works for my current lifestyle.

I wore it to a child’s birthday party and it was great. The weather in San Francisco is still a bit chilly so I layered it over leggings. I was able to chase my kids around and still feel like I had worn something cute. I can tell this dress is going to become a go-to item.

I received a complimentary dress from Fresh Produce Clothing to facilitate this review. No other compensation was received. All statements and opinions are my own.

Dang, Ms Mami, you don’t look like your body went through pregnancies at all. The dress does look versatile and you can dress it up or down. Looks like it doesn’t wrinkle either. Anyway, glad this company found your blog and that you found something in their dress line that suits your current lifestyle.

Well, you sure do know how to make a mami feel good. Oh and the dress doesn’t wrinkle which is awesome because ironing has NEVER fit into my lifestyle.

Girl…you and me both.  I don’t do crack, so when I wear skinny jeans, I always layer and wear some kind of flowy shirt.  But I do love dresses, its so easy.  You look fabulous!

It looks lovely – I like a go to dress when I can’t make up my mind how dressed up an event is going to be

Good to know!  I am really struggling with my post-baby, still nursing wardrobe.
