Giorgio’s Pizzeria on a Rainy San Francisco Day

It was a rainy, windy day in San Francisco.

Giorgio's Pizzeria

We were craving pizza and usually we order in but an episode of “Check Please! Bay Area” recently reminded us of Giorgio’s Pizzeria. They don’t deliver in our area.

So we ventured out.

Giorgio's Pizzeria

The last time my husband and I went to Giorgio’s Pizzeria, we didn’t have kids and we weren’t married.

It was great to go as a family.

Giorgio's Pizzeria

Unlike so many places in San Francisco, Giorgio’s is very family-friendly.

It’s a pizzeria, but the menu has much more to offer.

Perhaps on another occasion we will try something other than pizza.

But this time around we were there for pizza.

The grown ups and the kids wanted different toppings.

We opted for two pizzas.

The kids shared a mini pepperoni pizza and the grown ups split a small mushroom, black olive and pepperoni pizza.

So was it worth leaving the house on a rainy, windy day? Yes! I’m mean pizza delivery is awesome, but there is nothing like enjoying pizza that’s fresh out of the oven.
