I Comment Therefore I Am

Welcome to another edition of I Comment Therefore I Am, where I put together a post from comments I’ve left on other blogs. Below are some of my favorite posts from the previous week and what they inspired me to say.

Lee the Hotflash Queen was wondering what to call a male whore. She settled on a term, but I’m not having it and this is why…

I have to respectfully disagree with you. The men are still Comment Crack Whores. It is all about equality and reclaiming language. When I tell people I act, I say that I am an actor, not an actress. When I waited tables I said I was a server, not a waitress. A female doctor is a doctor, not a doctress. There is no good reason why a man can not be a Comment Crack Whore. If the addiction fits then own it. In my book they are still Whores.

Tamara The (Un)Experienced Mom asked what my top 3 quirks are:

1. When I eat, I always save what I like the most for last, which isn’t such a great idea because sometimes by the time I get to it I’m too full.

2. I will do anything possible to get out of ordering pizza. I’m referring to making the actual call. I can not stand to order pizza. I like to get it and eat it, but I will beg someone else to order it. This only applies to pizza. I have no problem ordering any other kind of food for delivery.

3. The following family of “quirks” are shared by many and probably have something to do with a slight case OCD: when I leave the house, I always end up going back inside to make sure the stove is off; when I get out of the car I always go back to make sure I locked it.

When my husband wants to torture me, he says, “I wonder if you locked the car?” Then he blocks me from being able to go back to the car and check. It drives me crazy or maybe it just shows my crazy.

At Bloggin 2 Noggin, I was induced to share this tidbit:

Whenever my daughter doesn’t do something right, I point and laugh. Then I show her how easy it is for me to do it. I don’t want her to think that she is smarter than me.

Do you think she’ll have issues when she gets older?

That’s it for this edition of I Comment Therefore I Am.

BUT!!! I am nominated for a Blogs by Latinas Award. Could you pretty please go here:

and vote for me? I am nominated under the “Life/Vida”, “Blogging”, and “Baby/Bebe” categories?

Do you give good comment? Wanna play along? Go forth, spread the comment love, and turn it into a post (I keep a draft post open while I read blogs throughout the week).  Recycle, reuse, and reduce my friends; it’s the wave of the future.

Oh and feel free to comment on my comments otherwise how will I know that you exist.

If you play along please link back and/or post the button below. Spread the love, spread the love!
