Welcome to another edition of I Comment Therefore I Am, where I put together a post from comments I’ve left on other blogs and or comments left on my blog.
Ms B. Plan wrote about her motto for January which is a slight twist on “the grass is always greener” saying. Here’s my reaction to what she was sharing…
Other people’s success does not take anything away from you. It is just a reminder that you can be successful too.
I complained about bank charges in a recent post and got this lovely comment from Tattytiara…
For $120 bucks a year I not only want free ATM, I want my money delivered to me gift wrapped on a silver platter by a barely dressed, lightly oiled fitness model.
That’s what I’m saying! If my bank wants to charge me $120 a year for something I’ve been getting for free for as long as I’ve had a bank account, then they need to make it worth my while.
That’s it for this edition of I Comment Therefore I Am.
Do you give good comment? Wanna play along? Go forth, spread the comment love, and turn it into a post (I keep a draft post open while I read blogs throughout the week). Recycle, reuse, and reduce my friends; it’s the wave of the future.
Oh and feel free to comment on my comments otherwise how will I know that you exist.
If you play along please link back and/or post the button below. Spread the love, spread the love! You can grab the button code from my sidebar.

I still say you should switch to a credit union. Though the lightly oiled guy sounds nice.

I did open an account at a credit union. I have to call them today to order checks.

I loved the Bank post and I love Tatty Tiara’s response! years ago, my friend laughed at me when I yelled back at an ATM, “Yes! I will pay your unreasonable fees!” when prompted if I would accept their $2.50 charge. So I stand with you, woman.
You are right about the success. I try to remind myself of that but some days, my eyes do turn a little green!

HAHA! I want a hunk to bring me some money too! That sounds weird doesn’t it.
lisleman says
any chance a barely dressed lightly oiled old fart model would do? I could make some side money.
unknownmami says
Thanks for the offer, but I decided to go with a credit union and forgo the model charge.
lisleman says
oh well doesn’t hurt to ask. I guess a lightly oiled sagging body is still a sagging body.
Mama Zen says
I’m easy to please. I’d even be willing to oil up the fitness model myself!
unknownmami says
Now that is a sacrifice I’d be willing to make.
Eva Gallant says
I’m just not witty enough to join, but Tatty Tiara can be hilarious, as are your comments!

Couldn’t agree more with your bank posting. I’m so not feeling the bank love. Whatever happened to the good old days of giving people toasters?
Jen G. says
hey, do you know I was thinking about you this morning, how are you feeling?
unknownmami says
Maybe you were thinking about me because I was at the doctor. I feel fine, but the doctor visits always bum me out.
blueviolet says
I’m sorry but that’s not good enough for $120. I need more, much more!

I like her idea on what $120/year should get you!
InspiredDreamer says
Oh my goodness, I would like my money given to me by a lightly oiled fitness model too! Shoot, he could have a dissected frog on that platter and I’d probably take it.
Have an Extraordinary Day!

I like that you say that other people’s success is a reminder that you can be successful too. Living in a competitive driven world, this message is often missed; everyone has the potential to succeed. 😀
MyLittleMiracles says
I’d take the lightly oiled guy, but dang he better be worth it for $120!!
MsBabyPlan says
I might start saving my money under my bed – like the old days, ehehe!
Thanks my name in ICTIA ;), you are right to say that “Other people’s success does not take anything away from you. It is just a reminder that you can be successful too.”!

I love your first comment here. I am a big believer in celebrating the happiness of others. It brings more happiness your way.

Oh, I so totally loved this. There’s no need to be jealous of another’s success. This is simply a reminder that we too can make it and should get out there and grab our piece of the action!

You, my friend, understand the true meaning of success.
