Other people’s success does not take anything away from you. It is just a reminder that you can be successful too.
I complained about bank charges in a recent post and got this lovely comment from Tattytiara…
For $120 bucks a year I not only want free ATM, I want my money delivered to me gift wrapped on a silver platter by a barely dressed, lightly oiled fitness model.
That’s what I’m saying! If my bank wants to charge me $120 a year for something I’ve been getting for free for as long as I’ve had a bank account, then they need to make it worth my while.

I still say you should switch to a credit union. Though the lightly oiled guy sounds nice.
I did open an account at a credit union. I have to call them today to order checks.

You are right about the success. I try to remind myself of that but some days, my eyes do turn a little green!

Thanks for the offer, but I decided to go with a credit union and forgo the model charge.
oh well doesn’t hurt to ask. I guess a lightly oiled sagging body is still a sagging body.
I’m easy to please. I’d even be willing to oil up the fitness model myself!
Now that is a sacrifice I’d be willing to make.

Maybe you were thinking about me because I was at the doctor. I feel fine, but the doctor visits always bum me out.

Oh, I so totally loved this. There’s no need to be jealous of another’s success. This is simply a reminder that we too can make it and should get out there and grab our piece of the action!
