I Know What a Fox Says, Do You? (Fragmented Fridays)

It was a short week and somehow it still managed to kick my butt. Admittedly, that is not hard to do. I mean have you seen the size of my butt?

My mother is coming to visit for the weekend in honor of Put Pie’s big 0-5 birthday! My eldest is turning 5. It also happens to be Grandparent’s Day on Sunday, so double celebration.

Happy Grandparents Day to all the lovely grandparents out there. I only ever had a grandmother and she’s been gone for a very long time.

My favorite tweet this week:

1st day of school! For the 1st time in months, my wife and I can go in literally any room of the house and you-know-what! (Throw away toys.)

Now do your eyeballs and ears a favor, watch this video it is HILARIOUS, then share it with a kid in your life. Finally, music that kids and adults can both enjoy and how many times have we all wondered “What does a fox say?” WATCH IT!!! I mean it, do it, best weirdest song and video you will hear and see ALL day!

Did you watch it? Is it not the weirdest kind of most wonderful thing ever?

And now your Friday Fortune Cookie
(don’t forget to add “in bed” at the end, if you are so inclined):

You are as clever as a fox.

I hope you all have a great birthday celebration weekend with Put Pie. 5 is such a great age. My niece who I’m very close too just turned 6. The transition between the two reminds me of the gap between 25 and 26. It’s amazing that so much growth can happen in one year. Happy birth of your eldest, C. We’re watching a movie right now but as soon as I can, I’ll watch that video.

We’re having a tea party at a very nice place. I might be more excited than she is.

Happy Birthday to beautiful baby number one. 🙂

I no longer have grandparents either but my husband’s two grandmothers treat me as one of their own. It’s nice.

    Happy Friday!

so foxy! I disagree on the elephant sound. However, whenever I travel through the woods I always put on a white shirt and tie. Much more stylish than hunter orange.
I’ll be sharing that video. It’s like a kid’s book set to a club beat.

I will watch the video later. I promise. Enjoy time with your family. Birthdays with grandparents are very special. I grew up with all four living close by. They were wonderful people, and I was blessed to have them in my life.

For some reason the fox song reminds me of the music and videos of OK Go. Are you familiar with them? Here’s a link to one of their songs. http://youtu.be/gq7r3F1SoX0
