I think all men’s public restrooms (except for the ones in bars or strip clubs) should have diaper changing stations. Many men are taking care of children in diapers; it shouldn’t be assumed that only women need changing stations in public restrooms.
I think cable should be free except for channels that have absolutely no commercials or product placement in the programs.
I think I have too many pin #’s and passwords to remember.
I think naps are pretty awesome.
I think the lighting in dressing rooms should be more flattering.
What do you think?
Elissa says
totally agree with the men’s restroom changing tables! I like that i am seeing more of these “family” restrooms around.
brainella says
I think men would be able to come up with excuses to avoid changing diapers in public even if there were changing tables in the men’s room.
unknownmami says
I think you are right.
From Tracie says
I think you are absolutely correct on all points!
Also, I think that my house needs more chocolate. A LOT more chocolate…if I’m going to make it through this week.
Michelle from Honest & Truly! says
Are you sure that isn’t just your husband? Most public restrooms by us have diaper station in them…. 😉
I wish I could nap, but I also love it when other people in my house nap. Except my husband when I want him to be doing something. Which I suppose is most of the time?
rebecca says
I totally agree with everything, especially the cable. I mean why does cable cost $50 or more per month? What are you paying for? More commercials? More reruns? We don’t have cable.
unknownmami says
We don’t have cable either.
Tina says
I think you are so right…
I think that kids should be treted like kids and not mini adults.
I think that I can’t stop buying crap with sequins and glitter on it.
I think that being sick and coming to work was crazy.
Best,

I think you are a very wise person!!
PhotoPuddle says
I agree with all of these things! Although sadly I don’t have many naps!
Eva Gallant says
I’m with you all the way! Although I do think here in Maine lots of men’s restrooms have baby changing stations, or men’s rooms, ladies’ rooms, and then a family restroom with baby station that is open to either sex.

i think there should be a law against how many coupons you get to redeem at walmart on saturdays during christmas… i’m just sayin’…
i think they should make brastraps that stay up. {and hidden}
i think braille on the drive up ATMs is weird and unnecessary.
i agree wholeheartedly about cable. not fair. at. all.
i think you’re pretty awesome!

I totally agree and I think chocolate shouldn’t make you fat……!
brian says
maybe its just location but our mens rooms have changing tables…and naps rock!
Carmasez says
I am in complete agreement with regard to naps. Any day I can fit in a nap is an awesome day!!!!!!!!! Hope you are feeling well 🙂

I think we should have less rain in Oregon.
I think we already have baby changing tables in public men’s rooms here.
I think you think too much, but it’s what makes you so much fun to read.

I think you are a genius!
Modernmom says
Oh I think you are spot on! I think it should be illegal for sales people to lie to you. Don’t tell me I look fab in those pants when we both know I look fat!
Jeanie says
I think those are all very thought-full things to think and I think you should be in charge.
Scrappy Girl says
I think the way our car insurance is doing is very sad. Only pay for 60% of a tire? “Quality parts” is a way of sneakily saying “GENERIC parts.” Argh!
blueviolet says
I totally agree about the cable channels. It’s such a rip!
Anonymous says
I agree about the men’s restroom changing tables. Some of the malls/stores around here have “Family” restrooms as well..
And naps are great!
Charlene says
That idea about changing tables in men’s restrooms sound good. And all men in couples should do the diaper changing when out in public.
I think public restrooms should be unisex, actually, with stalls around the urinals. But that is probably something that would freak out people.

Most of the men’s bathrooms here in Utah have baby changing tables. I guess there is at least one thing Utah has figured out. If only we could figure out everything else.
Donda says
I think there should be no light in the dressing rooms!
Lindsay says
I think you’re right on all counts! I especially agree on the cable!
Lady Fi says
Men’s restrooms do all have baby changing tables here in Sweden! Hurray for equality.
Myyasaad says
I think I agree with every single one of these!!!
Lori says
I agree with you on all of these..in the bigger towns around us more places are starting to have family bathrooms which with all the dad’s taking care of their kids now day’s there really should be more. We only have basic cable and get the bare minimum channels…if we didn’t have so many tall tree’s we would have an antena…never had cable in my life until now..the thing is we don’t watch that much tv except for cold winter days when we tend to use it more for something to do…today I am thinking I will be happy when I get to hug my son that I haven’t see for a long time…I think it’s going to be a long winter…I think peace & quiet like I am experiencing right now is not over rated. 🙂
Lynn says
Agree to all! I believe there are a few men’s rooms with changing tables now. Your idea is catching on!
betty says
I used to do some secret shopping assignments and one of the questions on the forms at restaurants was about baby changing stations in some of the restaurants we were assigned to. Hubby would go in to the men’s restaurant for me and occasionally there were baby changing stations (and clean too!) So maybe it will catch on for all places! I have my passwords written down since I can’t remember them all; I do try to keep one that I use for anything and everything if they will let me. Every 90 days I have to change the password on my work computer; I just use the same main password and add the next number up, makes it very simple to remember.
I think it is good you have time to think 🙂

unknownmami says
I do the same thing with the password at work. I just keep moving up the number scale. It took me forever to figure out to do that though. Sometimes the obvious escapes me.
lisleman says
Passwords are there for a reason so I keep different ones for banking and money type things. One technique I believe works well is to take the initials from some phrase you’ll remember like “left my heart in San Francisco” lmhisf and add a number to it. Next 90 day or whatever you just change the phrase a little “San Francisco by the bay” sfbtb
it works for me

Over here we have (in the malls) Men’s, Women’s and FAMILY changing rooms! The Family Change Rooms are for everyone .. men and women who have babies/little children needing attention. They also cater for breastfeeding mums, they have little private booths with an easy chair and a curtain for privacy. They are really neat. Oh and microwaves and sinks etc for making/heating babies bottles. Awesome eh?
unknownmami says
I can’t get over the microwaves and sinks. That’s pretty plush.

I’ve noticed quite a few restrooms around here have signs on the mens’ room doors saying they have changing stations. It’s about time!
I totally agree with your post! I used to use the same password for everything until my friendly online stalker hacked into several of my accounts…now I have to remember a bunch of different ones. So annoying!
Classic NYer says
I think other people should be as thoughtful as you.
I also think menstruation should be optional for chicks who don’t want kids… and that the lighting in dressing rooms should be less flattering so that girls like me don’t end up buying things that don’t look good in normal light.
Classic NYer says
I think I somehow managed to miss out on a close tag in that last comment. I think my mad html skillz are slipping.

I think I need a nap or I might lose my mind.

I think someone should invent one single shopper loyalty club card so that I don’t have to fumble around in my purse to find the right card so that I can collect “new toaster” points every time I buy gas. If Europe can consolidate its currency into the “Euro”, surely someone can make a one size-fits all rewards card. There’s just too much damn plastic in my purse! – G
Dwmatty says
I do see changing stations in some public men’s rooms. But you are right, there should be more.
I keep my pins and passwords simple so I don’t forget, but something no one else would know. Purely random with no meaning to me.
Bmanousos7 says
Surely I agree with the men’s restroom changing tables. That would make the things easier for both men/women…I’m not sure if the majority of men would like that actually.

Everyone should think more.
While there are many things about Arizona that I disagree with, I did notice something there that should be adopted all over the country.
Along side the handicap parking they had parking for families with small children. A great idea.

I totally agree with changing tables in male toilets!
I think you should get 2 months free heating in the winter…never going to happen but would be so good!

I agree with you on each item! I keep my passwords all the same which isn’t a great idea but it makes it easier. For those that give you a password I keep a little notebook with all my passwords next to my computer.

Yeah, they used to say we have to pay for cable because it is advertisement free, but it is not so now.
Catalina says
Agreed on all! Especially the free cable. It doesn’t make sense to pay for their basic service when we get just about the same amount of channels for free. Yup, the reception is not always agreeable but it serves our needs just fine.
