A Few Things I Think About

I think all men’s public restrooms (except for the ones in bars or strip clubs) should have diaper changing stations. Many men are taking care of children in diapers; it shouldn’t be assumed that only women need changing stations in public restrooms.

I think cable should be free except for channels that have absolutely no commercials or product placement in the programs.

I think I have too many pin #’s and passwords to remember.

I think naps are pretty awesome.

I think the lighting in dressing rooms should be more flattering.

What do you think?

I think men would be able to come up with excuses to avoid changing diapers in public even if there were changing tables in the men’s room.

Are you sure that isn’t just your husband? Most public restrooms by us have diaper station in them…. 😉

I wish I could nap, but I also love it when other people in my house nap. Except my husband when I want him to be doing something. Which I suppose is most of the time?

I totally agree with everything, especially the cable. I mean why does cable cost $50 or more per month? What are you paying for? More commercials? More reruns? We don’t have cable.

That idea about changing tables in men’s restrooms sound good. And all men in couples should do the diaper changing when out in public.

I think public restrooms should be unisex, actually, with stalls around the urinals. But that is probably something that would freak out people.

I agree with you on all of these..in the bigger towns around us more places are starting to have family bathrooms which with all the dad’s taking care of their kids now day’s there really should be more. We only have basic cable and get the bare minimum channels…if we didn’t have so many tall tree’s we would have an antena…never had cable in my life until now..the thing is we don’t watch that much tv except for cold winter days when we tend to use it more for something to do…today I am thinking I will be happy when I get to hug my son that I haven’t see for a long time…I think it’s going to be a long winter…I think peace & quiet like I am experiencing right now is not over rated. 🙂

I used to do some secret shopping assignments and one of the questions on the forms at restaurants was about baby changing stations in some of the restaurants we were assigned to. Hubby would go in to the men’s restaurant for me and occasionally there were baby changing stations (and clean too!) So maybe it will catch on for all places! I have my passwords written down since I can’t remember them all; I do try to keep one that I use for anything and everything if they will let me. Every 90 days I have to change the password on my work computer; I just use the same main password and add the next number up, makes it very simple to remember.

I think it is good you have time to think 🙂

Passwords are there for a reason so I keep different ones for banking and money type things. One technique I believe works well is to take the initials from some phrase you’ll remember like “left my heart in San Francisco” lmhisf and add a number to it. Next 90 day or whatever you just change the phrase a little “San Francisco by the bay” sfbtb
        it works for me

Over here we have (in the malls) Men’s, Women’s and FAMILY changing rooms! The Family Change Rooms are for everyone .. men and women who have babies/little children needing attention. They also cater for breastfeeding mums, they have little private booths with an easy chair and a curtain for privacy. They are really neat. Oh and microwaves and sinks etc for making/heating babies bottles. Awesome eh?

I also think menstruation should be optional for chicks who don’t want kids… and that the lighting in dressing rooms should be less flattering so that girls like me don’t end up buying things that don’t look good in normal light.

I think someone should invent one single shopper loyalty club card so that I don’t have to fumble around in my purse to find the right card so that I can collect “new toaster” points every time I buy gas. If Europe can consolidate its currency into the “Euro”, surely someone can make a one size-fits all rewards card. There’s just too much damn plastic in my purse! – G
