It has been a phenomenal week. I was invited to stay at Carmel Valley Ranch by the CA Strawberries Commission and it was WONDERFUL. I want to go back! I visited strawberry farms, ate great food, met great people, and stayed in a beautiful room. Now, I seem to think I should have a fireplace in my bedroom and turndown service every night, but I don’t think that is going to happen anytime soon.
Other exciting news, I will be having a virtual guest this summer. The lovely Mrs. 4444 (pronounced fours) is taking a well-deserved break and is sending me her weekly “Friday Fragments” link-up for the summer. I’m honored and thrilled.

Oh do I love me some strawberries!!! I planted some this year, but they are not quite producing yet. I wonder if they need a summer to just vine out and discover they are alive?? Or my black thumb has morphed somehow 🙁

Aw man! I’m taking a break on Friday posting after this week to work studiously on packing up our house and getting ready for our big move across country so I won’t be fragmenting for a while – but seeing as how you’re taking the reins for the summer, I might have to frag a time or two just to stay on top of things! 🙂
