Jane the Bakery

My husband and I finally got a chance to try Jane the Bakery on Geary Street. The bakery is on the corner of Geary and Steiner in what used to be a combo Taco Bell/KFC. We tried a few things both sweet and savory. Of the things we tried, what we liked the most were the natural Duroc ham sandwich with caramelized onions, swiss cheese and whole grain mustard as well as the fresh-baked baguette.

As far as I’m concerned, there can never be too many bakeries. In fact, there aren’t enough of them.
