Mama, I Have a Secret to Tell You

Child Whispering

Warm breath against my ear as you whisper things that only I can hear…

Like, Mama, te quiero, I love you.

I smile as warm breath against my ear travels to and fills my heart, then say out loud for all to hear, Yo te quiero tambien, I love you too.

Every day my life is filled with love. How lucky am I?

Extremely! Love when kids whisper in my ears- especially when they actually whisper and not talk loudly 🙂

My co-worker and I were a bit harsh today with the children. We spoke firmly about standing in lines, not using my truck as a toy, not climbing on top of the building, and other stuff. After we ended our day, two of my worst troublemakers stayed behind to sweep, and I grabbed both of them and whispered, Te quiero. Sometimes it is the little things that make us blessed.

So sweet. You are lucky but I’m sure you’ve sown that love as a mother and you’re just reaping the sweetness you’ve taught your daughters.
