Many years ago I used to live on Spruce St, beneath Lone Mountain College, for a few years. My friends and I were so excited when Mel’s opened.

I love old-style diners. I like the bright mustard and ketchup bottles on the table by the jukebox. The colors are vibrant.

Is this the one used in “American Graffiti”? I think that it really existed and was in CA. Hey just put my burger on my tab OK?

Yup, the whole place has pictures from the movie in it. I’m not sure if this is the exact one that was used as it is a chain and then there was this whole family rift and they split up into two different chains.
