Being born and raised in the United States by a Mexican mother, my life has always been bicultural and I love it. Part of the beauty of being bicultural is that I get to celebrate some holidays in more than one way. For example, Christmas. In my life, there is Christmas on December 25, which is OK but not my favorite, and then there is Mexican Christmas on December 24, which I live for.
I could go on and on about Mexican Christmas and being that I am a writer, I could attempt to describe the joy of it in my own words, but Twitter has already done such a good job of it that I’ll just leave you with …
