My Wish Came True and So Could Yours

The internet is a magical wonderland. You encounter all kinds of mythical creatures from trolls to fairies. The internet trolls are not pleasant, but fortunately there are kindhearted internet fairies that make up for the cruelness of the trolls.

The last time I believed in fairies, I was putting a tooth under my pillow. It’s been a while, but my faith has been restored thanks to The Fairy Hobmother. On my journeys through cyberspace I’ve heard tales of The Fairy Hobmother and I was skeptical to say the least. Why would this fairy go around the internet granting wishes? I would have thought the whole thing was a sham if it wasn’t for the fact that bloggers I trust were being granted wishes and posting about it.

I figured there was nothing to lose so when I read a post at Nibbles & Feasts where the Fairy Hobmother had granted the author a food processor, I went for it and made a wish. I was told to wish for a kitchen appliance in the comments section and this is what I wrote…

Dear Fairy Hobmother, I would love an immersion blender.

Then one early morning while I slept The Fairy Hobmother sent me an email and asked me if I would like this immersion blender:

Of course, I said: YES!

In exchange for this immersion blender instead of giving her a tooth, which I can not spare, she asked that I help spread the word about her by telling you about her adventures in wish granting. So now you know, The Fairy Hobmother is real and if you make a wish for an appliance in my comments section she just might grant your wish. If she does, please be sure to tell me.

Go ahead, make a wish, you have nothing to lose and perhaps a kitchen appliance to gain.

Disclosure: I received the immersion blender for free.

I need a new hand mixer.  I am in charge of hospitality at my church and I have been mixing by hand after breaking four fingers this past summer…ouch.
