I usually only post Sundays in My City on the weekend, but today I had to post something else. Why? Because this blog is 2 today! I know they call them the terrible twos, but I think this baby will be different. I think she’ll make it through the year with a minimum of tantrums.
I’m quite proud of her actually. In her two years online she has learned so much and managed to make a bunch of friends. Her blogabulary has grown, although she still relies on her potty mouth a bit too much. Oh well, she may never grow out of that. And she’s gotten to travel the world and take a glimpse at your neighborhoods.
We’re not doing much to celebrate this occasion other than thanking you profusely for putting up with our childish antics. They say it takes a village to raise a child, I say it takes a cyber-communtiy to nurture a blog. You have all been unbelievably nurturing. Muchisimas gracias!
Warmest congratulations on two years in cyberspace. I know it must be even harder to keep up with a new baby in the house. I don’t get by here often enough but I love your blog, especially “Sundays In My City.” I can’t believe, in September, I’ll also hit the two year mark. It’s amazing how much this blogging has meant to me.
But I would like a Pinata.
