It is not the best picture in the world, but I love it. I love it because it shows the 3 people that I love most in this world traveling as one. It makes my heart fill with joy and nostalgia for the present because right now we are this compact little family that travels together and we feel complete. One day we will not be this compact, we will take up more space and the distance between us will grow. One day, I will not be able to wrap my arms around the three people I love the most all at once. But today I can, today I can wrap my arms around all three of them at once. And that’s why I love this picture.

Sometimes the best pictures in the world are not the best because of how beautifully shot they are. My favorite pictures are probably garbage in the eyes of a professional photographer.

I love this! My fav pic of my boyfriend and son is also from behind. There’s something about them not knowing that the picture is being taken that makes it seem so much more special. It’s candid and shows that they weren’t purposely posing for the picture, its just effortless.
