Positive News to Share! #Positivismo

It is all about perspective my friends. I have always known this. We all know this on some level. There are countless sayings meant to inspire a positive outlook, sayings about silver linings and glasses being half full. Life is far more rewarding if you embrace the positive. Sometimes we just need to be reminded.

Well guess what?! I get to remind you!!! Yup, I have been appointed a Positivity Ambassador by the California Milk Processor’s Board. What’s that you say, you’ve never heard of a Positivity Ambassador? You do not know what a Positivity Ambassador does? I’ll tell you what this Positivity Ambassador is going to do, I am going to remind you that the glass is indeed half full. I’ll remind you to look at all the positivity that surrounds you and I also get to tell you about milk and why I love it. As far as I’m concerned any day that ends with an ice cold glass of milk and some cookies was a positive day (I end most of my days with this ritual).

When I was approached about this campaign I was so excited because I really do love milk (I drink local organic milk every day) and I do my very best to have and encourage a positive attitude with a bit of humor. Humor speaks to my soul and keeps me positive.

I find that wisdom often comes in the guise of humor, that’s why I am thrilled to introduce you to the “Master of the Glass Half Full” (Maestro del Vaso Medio Lleno).

He is a riot! His inspirational journey from negativity to positivity is chronicled on  Facebook. Aren’t we all on that journey? And like any modern day guru you can also follow him on Twitter. Here is the first peak I ever got of the Master of the Glass Half Full and he managed to make me smile within 14 seconds:

Now the Master of the Glass Half Full may make you laugh, but he is not a fool. This man is wise, profound, and somehow simple at the same time. He is also eminently quotable.  For example,

“For every angry minute, you miss 60 seconds of happiness. Your daily glass of Positivism.”

You see what I’m talking about? Tell, me he’s not absolutely right with that observation.

What do you do to keep yourself positive? Share your tips with me and I’ll drink to your health with ice cold glass of milk (and some cookies on the side).

Disclosure: This is part of a sponsored campaign with the California Milk Processor’s Board and Latina Mom Bloggers.

Might as well think of the glass as half full as opposed to half empty. Half full subconsciously has me prepared for much more still to come as opposed to the half empty glass when I don’t want to drink any more because then it will, you know, GONE.

I too like a very cold glass of milk, even though I am lactose intolerant. If I have lactose free milk I use non fat and it tastes great to me. If I don’t have lactose free milk, I take lactose tabs right before drinking milk and I am fine. No cookies for me though. We haven’t learned to make wheat free, gluten free cookies yet.

Do you get a castle to live in as the new Positivity Ambassador? Do you need my help there?

What do I do to keep positive? I laugh my pepa™ off! I am with you. Humor helps. I also believe it is important to reflect in order to tap into whatever negative energy is trying to invade our bodies! Oh, and I just created a small Medication Corner in my bedroom. That will also help keep me peachy!

You don’t have to like milk to be positive.

Do you not like all dairy products or just milk? I’m a nut for cheese. I would have a hard time not living with cheese.

Positivity is my philosophy. 🙂 That dude looks hot. And the one minute of anger/60 seconds of happiness line is one of my most favorites.

Hiya there, Unknown Positivity Ambassador! I look forward to being reminded ;-). A cold glass of milk is also my favorite drink. Reminds me of an old Milk jingle.

I left a comment earlier in the week and I’m not sure where it went! But, I was saying  something to the effect that it’s so good  to see you fab Latinas doing this campaign. I’m not involved but I think it’s going to help me out, too! Congrats!
