beautiful pics!
unknownmami says
I don’t know, but it was right above my doorbell. I took a picture and ran.
Lady Fi says
Cool pictures. I love the picture on the side of that van.
Kristin_The_Goat says
The only critters I saw today were a gecko and a giant roach — or as they like to call them here in Florida, Palmetto bugs. That painted van is far out!
Vidya Sury says
Wow! I almost want to print and keep your pictures! That spider somehow reminds me of that Anancy story. Brilliant pictures!
Do visit and check out my Sunday pictures. And did I tell you I love your Sundays in my City idea? Cheers!
Raymonde says
Hello Unknown Mami, I really like the colourful van. And you probably know I also like taking pictures of bugs. Your spider is rather impressive. Hope you are all keeping well. Have a fantastic Sunday.
PS: Did you get the lightscoop? 😉

I’m glad my mother doesn’t read your blog, she would have freaked out seeing that first shot!
Actually, I’ll email her your blog address. 😀

Creepy spider. Is that a sand dollar?
I always enjoy the artwork in your city, it is everywhere.
Nice pics for your Sunday post.

Cool shots……not a fan of spiders or anything with lots of legs!!
Hope you are having a wonderful Sunday!
Eternal Lizdom says
You need a warning on the spider! ACK!
Smitten Images says
What a cool collection. They’re all quite similar with their focal point, and how their legs/leaves/wings seem to sprout from there.

The spider gave me the heebie-jeebies. The mural on the truck though is amazing.

The spider creeped me out!

Scary spider and cool art. Great pictures overall. SF has so many great sights.
La Principessa Errante says
Love the truck. Nice to see good work like that rather than a lot of random tags.

What is the flower thing in the center?
unknownmami says
It is a sand dollar. My BIL decorates them and leaves them around the city.
Renee Weatherford says
I love the seashell, but – eww not the spider! Cool colors!
Joanne Olivieri says
What awesome shots, even that creepy crawler. Love the mural on the truck. I am seeing more and more of those around the city and I love em.

I hope that first shot was taken OUTside!

The spider was tight above our doorbell.
Vidya Sury says
You know – I actually woke up this morning thinking of your spider. Weird. And in a strange way, I remembered how, decades ago, when we lived in a different city (Hyderabad), we stayed in a house with a tiled roof (terra cotta type). It was more of a village than a town on the outskirts. We often saw scorpions. I think they would reside in the countless crevices in the roof. Initially this would scare the shit out of us. One day, one of our neighbors was telling us how a scorp crawled on to his bed – but when he turned over, he crushed it – and discovered it in the morning. The man is about 6’2″ and built heavy. Still – that episode still freaks me out. Couldn;t wait to move from there into a regular concrete house 🙂
unknownmami says
Yeah, I don’t think I could handle sharing a bed with a scorpion. My husband is a Scorpio and that’s bad enough. Honey, if you are reading this, I’m just kidding (not really).
Joanna Jenkins says
Hi Mami, I miss SIMC but hopefully will be back in the swing of blogging again soon.

Love that truck! You find the most interesting things. I can’t believe that spider was sitting near your doorbell (ugh). I totally would have screamed my head off.

This post should come with a warning – spider ahead, begin hyperventilating now!
Forget the spider, I love the truck.
Samantha Kimble says
Omg that spider is scary. Don’t think I would have stuck around long enough to take a picture.
