The Book of Mormon at the Orpheum Theatre in San Francisco

Orpheum Theater

Book of Mormon

I got a text from a friend on Tuesday asking if I had any interest in going to see “The Book of Mormon” at the Orpheum Theatre the following night. Uh, HELL to the YEAH!

I’m not a big fan of musicals, but “The Book of Mormon” has been on my short list of must-see musicals for some time and it did not disappoint. I expected it to be irreverent, which it is. I expected it to be hilarious, which it is. I can’t say that it met my expectations though because it actually exceeded them. If was funny AF and delightfully shocking.

I love a good laugh and this show provided me with many.

We went last night, in Sydney. I have to say, because of the build up, I thought it was going to be funnier – but the second half made me laugh a lot…
