Hola Chulas y Chulos! How are you? This has been the kind of week that I’ve wanted to smack in the pompis, it’s been a semana malcriada if you know what I mean. I’m so over it. Pero en fin, it’s time for your weekly dose of The Flying Chancla Report. My chancla has made its way through the internet to bring you stories you will give a flying chancla about.

• Oh my Love Loves, this video by the awesome folks at The Flama is comedy genius!!! It’s called…wait for it…”If Mexicans Celebrated the 4th Like Americans Celebrate Cinco De Mayo”—the title alone conjures the giggles, no? Now press play because BWAHAHAHA…

• Uh, I don’t know what is going on in the world. The New York Times freaked America out by suggesting we put English peas in our guacamole—so wrong—and now I find out that Matt Damon is sporting a ponytail. WHAT?! Is up down and down up? I don’t understand this crazy world we are living in do you? I’m not sure I want to live in a world where guacamole has peas in it and Matt Damon is shopping for scrunchies.

• Up next, this little girl stole my heart for a variety of reasons. First of all she’s the same age as my youngest AND she’s wearing a dress that my youngest owns AND the words coming out of her mouth may as well have come out of my own daughter’s mouth. This child is not looking forward to kindergarten and neither is mine. What’s hilarious is that it’s not like they are even going to kindergarten any time soon, they have a whole year before that happens, but I guess it’s not too early to start worrying about it.
