I hate to admit it, but sometimes I totally feel like the toddler in this video that both wants to and doesn’t want to be in a time out. ‘Cause sometimes it’s a bad mood kind of moment and why make up your mind what to be pissed off about when you can be pissed off at everything instead?

It is no secret that I am a Danny Trejo fan. Love him and his work or love him because of his work, I guess. A friend on Facebook posted this video that Trejo made with AARP and it makes me love him even more and appreciate AARP for featuring him and his life story. These are the kind of stories I personally want to see more of, they’re out there and they are awesome. Trejo’s story is pretty amazing and inspiring. He went from drugs to prison to being a drug counselor who through helping someone ended up on the road to being a movie star. He’s dedicated his life to giving back and dang it if I don’t want his life story to be turned into a movie one day. I recommend you watch it because sometimes things turn out GREAT even when the start was kinda rough.

Speaking of Danny Trejo, my chancla and I once ran into him on the sidewalk and I’m not proud of this, but we walked all over him.

My chancla and I aren’t in the best of moods lately so we’re going to flip flop right out of here in a moment, but we wanted to leave you with something that made us smile today. This was taken at my eldest daughter’s school during their morning circle Halloween celebration. This kind of stuff makes me grin from ear to ear. So freakin’ cute! Also, if you aren’t following me on Instagram maybe you might wanna. Just a suggestion.
Woo hoo! #Halloween at elementary school. A video posted by Claudya Martinez (@unknownmami) on
