Hola Chulas y Chulos! How are my favorite hijos de la chanclada doing? Hope all is well with you and yours. Let’s see what The Flying Chancla Report has in store for us this week:
-
It’s gift wrapping season and my chancla and I just found out about PicPapierie, a service that turns your Instagram or Facebook photos into a beautiful sheet of wrapping paper. One 33”x24” sheet printed on acid-free matte paper costs $8. It’s not exactly cheap as far as wrapping paper goes, but I can see the actual paper being part of the gift. I’m thinking abuelos would love a gift wrapped with images of the grandkids on it. Think of the possibilities.

In case you missed it, you can now buy clip on man buns. Yes, fake dude chongos. Apparently the man bun trend is going so strong and some guys feel left out and can’t wait to grow out their own actual hair. Check out the screenshot I took of the clip on man buns that Groupon is offering and notice that at the time I captured the image over 5,000 had been sold. Who is buying these things and why?

- Did you know that Salma Hayek was a gymnast as a child? She was so good that she was drafted by the Mexican national teamdrafted by the Mexican national team to be part of the Olympic tream, but her dad wasn’t into her giving up her childhood to train so hard. It seems to be that no matter what Hayek was destined for success, no?
I wish I could still do that but at least I have proof that once upon a time I was a #gymnast #ludscanov #gym #tbt A photo posted by Salma Hayek Pinault (@salmahayek) on
- Have you seen this video of a little girl who is not having it and is trying to stay mad, but then her shoes make her happy? It’s so cute. I wish we were all this easily distracted from out troubles and able to go from sulking to chuckling in seconds. And I mean I love shoes, they make me very happy, but never this happy.
That’s it for this week’s The Flying Chancla Report. I love you mucho and remember, spread love, not chanclazos!
