Just in case you thought good looks don’t really matter: Jeremy Meeks gets arrested as part of “a multi-agency Operation Ceasefire enforcement mission”, the Stockton Police Department posts his mug shot along with three other men’s mug shots on their Facebook page on June 18th explaining that the men were arrested for felony weapon charges, no one really cares about the three other men, but the entire world seems to get lost in Jeremy Meeks’ baby blue eyes because he’s just so dang dreamy. He’s 30-years-old, married and has a son. This also isn’t his first run in with the law.
His mug shot went bonkers online because it looks more like an actor or a model’s headshot and his good looks make it hard to believe that he’s not sporting Gap clothes as part of a Gap print campaign instead of sporting a teardrop tattoo for things he’s done in the past that he says he’s not proud of.
Meeks’ mug went viral on social media and even inspired memes, but now he’s not just internet famous, he’s being seen on TV screens across the world. Is it possible that no one told this guy he is good looking enough to be a model before? Well, if and when he gets out of prison, I hope he uses his 15 minutes of infamy to book some modeling or acting work.

People are donating money for his bail. I hope it’s true what he says, that the criminal stuff is part of his past which he regrets. But man, peoples’ priorities are pretty screwed up when a man gets this much attention just because he’s good looking. There are plenty of plain or ugly people who are wrongly arrested and convicted.
I’m with you. I saw to gofund page raising money for his bail. It just goes to show what we already knew which is that there are advantages to being beautiful.
I saw his photo the other day and I was like “that guy is hot!”
