Do you invest in yourself? For the last three years, I have been investing in myself by going to the #WeAllGrow Summit. #WeAllGrow is the go-to conference for Latina digital influencers, but it isn’t just for Latinas. While the summit highlights and celebrates elements of Latino culture, it truly is a testament to diversity and therefore all are welcome. Believe it or not there are even a few brave men who attend.

Every year that I have gone I am inspired by the creativity, strength and power of the attendees. I’ve been blogging and doing the digital influencer thing since 2009 and yet I still have so much to learn.

My teachers are others in the space who generously share what they have learned. This sharing of information creates a community of support and a camaraderie that keeps us connected in a very real and tangible way. More importantly, we realize that we aren’t competing with each other because we’re all in it together.

There truly is enough for all of us and when one grows, we all grow.

Don’t let anyone tell you that you can’t make “real” friends online because that’s so not true.

So, do you invest in yourself and if so, how?
