Wednesday Wishes

Wednesday Wishes

It’s the last Wednesday of the year and I’m ready to make some wishes. I suggest you join me, otherwise how will the Universe know what you want?

Here’s what I’m wishing for this week…

For myself:

  • I’d like to get a grip on practicing loving kindness toward myself. I get so upset with myself over certain things that are a part of me (i.e. my mental health issues). I want to accept myself in my entirety while still striving to learn, grow and better myself.
  • Money. I want money. Lots of money. Money to spare, money to share, money to save.

For others:

  • Please help Elizabeth find a job at a non-profit that would be a great match for all concerned by mid-January.
  • Alexandra is wishing for continued health. I wish her health, joy and success.
  • Carolyn is wishing for health as well. May she be healthy and happy.
  • Jessa is getting her wish! I want to say thank you, Universe, because I get to see her this week and I am so excited. I’ve missed her so much.
  • Please help Kelly’s father recover and be able to go back home needing minimal assistance.
  • Réne’s friend Mehmet passed away and her thoughts go to his widow and children in Turkey. May they find a way to carry on without him.
  • JusTina wants her friend who got laid off to find the perfect job.
  • Martha is wishing for a quick resolution to the housing situation that her mother’s sudden passing has created. I send her wishes of comfort, serenity and strength.
  • Help Vianessa land one of the jobs she’s interviewed for and may she make progress on the dreams she has for her future.
  • Eileen is wishing for strength and energy in the new year to help her do it all. Teaching takes up a lot of her time as well as parenting. She would like to be able to dedicate equal time to parenting, her career in education and her writing/blogging/freelancing. My wish for her is not that she do it all, but that she celebrates her accomplishments as she does her best. May she be focused on whatever she is doing at the moment so that she can get and give as much as possible.
  • Sheryl has got a nasty cough. Please have it not be something serious. Also, help her in every which way you can.
  • Lorraine is obsessing about making her book deadline to the point that she’s dreaming about it. Please help her relax and tackle the task bit by bit. Also, remind her that a deadline has nothing to do with dying. It’s like a pregnancy due date. A little bouncing, page-turning book is expected. It’s normal to be nervous and anxious, but the result is so worth it.
  • Ehron’s wish is “for 2016 to end without any more bullshit and 2017 to start without any more bullshit and maybe just a general moratorium on bullshit.” Please grant Ehron’s wish, we’re drowning in bullshit. No more bullshit.
  • Clever Laura is wishing for a TV, which is funny because I recently won a 55″ TV. She can’t have mine, so please send a TV her way and a wonderful home to put it in.
  • Deborah is wishing for ease, grace and vital health. I wish her inspiration and continued success in the coming year.
  • OMG, Chantilly’s wish put a HUGE smile on my face. Here’s what she wrote: “To see you write a book this year. We’ll all be needing a good laugh!” I think I could have a hand in making that wish come true. Not gonna lie, I’m a little scared, but why the heck not?
  • And Mari closes out this wishing thread perfectly. Her wish is for all of the above wishes to come true. I wish her more success in the new year and thank her for always being so generous in her wishing.

May we all have a rewarding 2017. What are you wishing for?

I hope you learn to accept yourself. That is my wish for our daughter too. Keeping everyone in my thoughts.
