Wednesday Wishes

Dandelion wishIt’s time to make some Wednesday Wishes and manifest some abundance up in here! I encourage you to make some wishes of your own as well because even the Universe, abundant as it is, needs some direction in terms of what you actually want. Wish, wish and wish some more.

Here’s what I’m wishing for this week:

1. Adjusting to being laid off has not been easy. I’ve been putting on a brave front and doing my best to stay positive. I continue to write everyday because I am a writer whether I’m getting paid for it or not. My wish is for continued inspiration and dedication to keep writing even when my mood or disposition tells me that I may as well just lay in bed and do nothing.

2. A friend challenged me to collaborate on a children’s book with her. It all started because she posted something on Facebook and I told her that the phrase would be a great title for a children’s book and since she is a phenomenal artist, I went on to say that she should create that children’s book. She came back at me with the proposition that I write it and she illustrate it. I’m skeered, but I totally want to do it. Why the heck not? Anyway, keep me motivated and send some awesome story ideas my way, por please Universe.

3. This isn’t a wish, but an expression of gratitude. I feel so blessed that there are so many kind and supportive people in my life. Getting laid off has been a blow and yet, the outpouring of kindness that I’ve gotten makes me realize that I really am more than just one circumstance in my life.

That’s it for me!

What are you wishing for?

You can tell me in the comments or you can link up below with a #WednesdayWishes post of your own. It could even be a #WednesdayWishes tweet or Facebook post if that’s more your style, just WISH! If you link up, please link back or post the Wednesday Wishes button either in your post or sidebar to let people know that other bloggers are sharing their Wednesday Wishes too.

The Universe is abundant, go on and make a wish!

lay in bed and blog. Well it might work for a few minutes.

Thanks giving me a new slang word, “skeered”. But really do we need another word for scared? Good luck – oh here’s another idea off the top of head – write a story about slang words.

A children’s book sounds like a creative outlet for your time, energy and creativity. File for unemployment and use some time to get your bearings again. This could be an unexpected blessing.
