It’s that time of the week when I like to remind you, me and everyone that the Universe is abundant by making some Wednesday Wishes and encouraging you to do the same. Wishing for what you want is the first step to getting what you want.
Here’s what I’m wishing for this week:
1. Last week, I only had one wish and that was that my mom would get better. This week I want to say thank you, thank you, thank you, Universe. My mother is out of the hospital and on the mend. Please continue to help her on her road to wellness.
2. I’m revving up to make some changes on this blog and change scares me, but it’s time to just go for it. I’d like for it all to go smoothly and to result in a HUGE success.

3. This next wish is not for me or anyone I know. I don’t even know what this person looks like, but I do know he needs some opportunities sent his way. Today as I was leaving my home, I saw that someone had put a note through the mail slot, I asked one of my daughters to hand it to me and it read, “I’m looking for a job, –house/yard cleaning, –gardening, –painting, etc. —Julio” and it included his phone number. I don’t have a job to offer this man and the truth is that because of my anxiety issues I would not feel comfortable hiring a perfect stranger to work for me even if I did have a job for him, but his note really touched me. I know what it’s like to struggle and hustle. I wish this man much luck and opportunity. Please help him, Universe.
4. Universe, I bought another pair of Birkenstocks. Yes, I did. They are Birkenstock Papillio Arizona Platform Slide Sandals, shiny white ones. I adore them, but I know that when my husband lays eyes on them he will be horrified. I haven’t shown them to him yet. Please help him understand that ugly is in the eye of the beholder and I adore ugly shoes!
That’s all I’m wishing for this week.
What are you wishing for?

Good news about your mom.
Your anxiety in the case of hiring strangers might be a good thing.
Shoes – I don’t get the thing between them and women. I suggest you tell your husband that you need to balance his great looks with your ugly shoes. Who knows it might work.

I tell him that I have to wear man-repeller shoes otherwise how would I keep all the men away?
