Hello amores, it’s time to make some Wednesday Wishes. One of the lessons that I keep having to learn over and over again in life is that the Universe is abundant. Time and time again it has been proven to me that this abundance exists, but I forget so I’ve made a practice of reminding myself every Wednesday by wishing for things big and little —things for myself and for things for others. This week I have a bunch of wonderful wishes because I took to Facebook to ask people what they would like for me to wish for on their behalf.
Here’s what I’m wishing for this week:
For myself:
- I have a cold that I would like to go away quickly.
- Also, my wish of being able to grow my freelance writing career seems to be coming true so please give me the energy and inspiration to kick ass in that area.
For others:
- For Leslie I am wishing for “a job that pays vía PayPal, preferably translating or recipe developing.”
- For Diana I am wishing for “contracts, a new job and an acceptance letter to an awesome school (for [her]son).”
- For Naomi healing for her friend battling breast cancer and also for success for another friend who just had a kidney/liver transplant.
- For Lexie I’m wishing that she gets to buy a house.
- For Cyndy I wish for peace.
- For Issa (my beautiful gemela) I wish for “emotional healing and creative rebirth” as well as the inspiration to write and the certainty of knowing that she is amazing, talented and loved.
- For Liz I am wishing for sponsors to help her feed and clothe those in homeless camps and for the resources to be able to do this five times a week.
- For Yuli I am wishing for “health and great vibes for the new year.”
- For Roy and all of us I am wishing for more poetry in our lives or the ability to see the poetry that surrounds us better.
- For Denise I wish that her house sells and in the meantime I also wish that she can find a space where she feels safe.
- For Daisy I wish for more of what I already know she has: strength to parent her beautiful baby boy on her own.
- For Kelly I wish that her sister would move into her neighborhood so they can raise their children together.
- For Senia (who is clearly a great friend) I wish for a place for her friend Denia who lost her mom two nights ago, and whose brother is very sick and in need of a kidney transplant.
- For Traci and for the world I wish “- that my brothers and sisters of all backgrounds and creeds will find themselves in each other and live in love and peace.” I also wish that many opportunities come her way that help provide and support her family.
- For Grace I’m wishing for “happiness, health, love, travel and security.”
