Our friends have two daughters that are the same age as our daughters and they live about three blocks away from us. Today, we walked our girls and their backpacks packed with sleepover essentials to our friends’ place so they could spend the night. Do you know what that means? It means:
When the kids are away, the parents will play.
Oh, sure, our daughters think they are the ones with fun plans for the night and no doubt they will have fun, but so will we. Hubby and I get to go out to dinner without kids, for drinks afterward and then we get to come home to a house full of no one but us. Let the good times begin!!!
