Admiring the View

San-Francisco-View-unknownmami

The view from my doctor’s office.

I was kid-free yesterday for a couple of hours. All I did was go to the doctor, but somehow it still felt like a mini-vacation. I have always loved spending time alone and I don’t get much of a chance to do that anymore. Solitude makes it easier to check in with myself.

    Nice looking place 🙂

I guess all of us look for that quiet get-away time and such times are great ways to connect with your own-self.
Thanks for sharing this with us. 🙂

People are so caught up with HIPPA around here that window’s are never that open during doctors visits, if there are windows in the office.  What a wonderful view!

That is a gorgeous view.  I love all the different colors.  A mom has to do what a mom has to do to get a little bit of quiet time.

Is that why it’s so expensive?

Must be nice. The nearest doctor’s office that will accept new medicaid patients is over 2 hours away-and thanks to Obamacare, I’ve been told by a nursing home worker that her facility has suffered severe cutbacks: more than a third of the staff has been laid off.

Oh, I’m crazy grateful for our insurance. My husband can’t leave his job (whether he wants to or not) because that is how we get out insurance.

Wow, I think I’d go to the Drs. a lot if I lived where you do. Glad you had some solitude…

Hey you did have a night not too long ago during an business type trip.  How did that go?  I recall you saying you looked forward to a restful sleep.  I don’t recall you mentioning it in the post you did on the trip.

Well, the sleep I got was restful, but it took me forever to fall asleep. I’m just not used to so much peace and quiet.

funny – you got too hyped up and thinking about the upcoming rest that you couldn’t relax

Solitude is bliss if taken in small doses. Now that my kiddos are older, my alone time can sometimes be too much of a good thing. I suppose balance is key?
