Blackout on 1/18/2012

Tomorrow UnknownMami.com will be joining websites such as MoveOn.org, Wikipedia, and Reddit by going dark as a protest against the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) in the U.S. House of Representatives and the Protect Intellectual Property Act (PIPA) in the Senate.

I’m all for sopa like my nana used to make,

Sopa

but SOPA makes me nervous. You are welcome to join the blackout as well.

To find out more you can read:

Wikepedia Blackout…

SOPA on hold…

See you soon!

So how would I turn my blog black? And do you think it’s racist to go only black? Should we encourage equal opportunity to all colors and go yellow, and red, and white, and brown, and green, and……..ya know we wouldn’t want equal rights activists to turn this into a racist thing so close to MLK day.

I’m so glad you liked this comment.  And the other day I was thinking of your resale shop story where you kept tooting on the wheelchair girl and your mom thought it was the wheelchair girl who smelled so bad.  That story STILL cracks me up.
