I got the Central Perk Lego set.
Recently, we went to the Lego store to buy something for our girls and I ended up buying this Central Perk Lego set for myself because I just couldn’t seem to leave the store without it. If you’ve ever watched the television show “Friends” you know that Central Perk is the café where the show’s characters spend way too much time.
Go ahead and judge me, but I love the show.
Yes, I realize it has some issues. Like how there are way too few people of color in it or how the fat Monica jokes are stupid and the gay jokes are lame, but I like it despite its flaws. I’ve watched every episode and fallen in love with the characters.
The Lego set is pretty awesome.
My 11-year-old put it together. I actually got the set for both of us because she loves the show too as you can tell from her sweatshirt. We watched the whole season together before it was taken off Netflix. She has so much fun building the set because Lego did a great job of recreating the café. The attention to detail is delightful and the characters in Lego form are adorable. Check ’em out.
There’s Gunther.
It wouldn’t be Central Perk without Gunther running the place and secretly pining for Rachel.
There’s Rachel.
Rachel’s got her signature hair and she can sit and have coffee or she can carry a coffee tray if you’re trying to capture the time when she worked at the café.
There’s Ross.
Ross has got that very gelled hair of his and a newspaper.
There’s Joey.
Joey’s got a whole pizza for himself because Joey doesn’t share food.
There’s Phoebe.
She’s getting ready to sing “Smelly Cat” because it’s a crowd favorite.
And, of course, there’s Chandler and there’s Monica.
Chandler’s got a laptop for work and Monica can hold a cupcake or just sip on coffee.
If you want your own, you can use my affiliate link to buy your own Central Perk Lego set.
I paid $59.99 for it at the Lego store and it’s the same price on Amazon. If you use one of the links in this post to buy it, I’ll make a small commission at no extra cost to you.
