I am the kind of person that if I hear a song that moves me, I will get up and dance even if there is no one else on the dance floor. Doesn’t bother me one bit if I look like a fool. As far as I’m concerned, it is the people that aren’t dancing that look like fools.
One of the joys of parenthood is dancing with and watching my children dance. I mean they practically came out of the womb dancing. I hope they never lose their love of dancing and that they never EVER become inhibitted when it comes to moving to a beat they love.

Kid’s benefit from dance in all sorts of ways including socially, physically, and emotionally.
