Dwell Magazine 1 Year Subscription Giveaway!

I am an unrepentant magazine junkie. I have more magazine subscriptions than I can count on my hands and I love it! It’s great to get something other than bills in the mail and it’s also an affordable treat that lasts for a year.

One of the only magazines that both my husband and I enjoy equally is Dwell . If you’ve never checked it out, you really should. At dwell.com you’ll see that they are a modern residential architecture and design magazine and website, and they hold an annual conference (Dwell on Design). Their tagline is “At Home in the Modern World.”

So maybe you’re thinking that you’re not that into residential architecture and design. The thing is that this magazine is beautiful and thought-provoking and there is something in it for everyone. I quote from their Fruit Bowl Manifesto:
“At Dwell, we’re staging a minor revolution. We think that it’s possible to live in a house or apartment by a bold modern architect, to own furniture and products that are exceptionally well designed, and still be a regular human being. We think that good design is an integral part of real life. And that real life has been conspicuous by its absence in most design and architecture magazines.”

Would you like to get something other than bills in the mail? Well, Dwell is offering one of my lucky readers a free one year subscription (10 issues) to their magazine.

All you need to do to enter is leave me a comment below about why you would like to win a free 1 year subscription (10 issues) to Dwell .

For extra entries, please leave a separate comment for each of the following:

1. Follow my blog

2. Write about this giveaway and include a link on your blog, then come back and leave me a comment with a link to your post.

3. Visit one of my followers, leave them a comment about their post, and come back and leave me the link of the post you commented on ( you can do this for up to 5 different followers. Make sure to leave a separate comment for each separate entry. Follower love entries inspired by Mommy is in the Bathroom.)

Don’t dwell on it, just enter!

Buena Suerte/ Good Luck! I’ll stop taking entries at 8:00 pm (P.S.T.) on 7/16/09 and the winner will be announced at 7:00 am ( P.S.T.). If your profile does not link to an email please be sure to check back as I will not be able to email you if you win.

This contest is over.

Aw, I was a magazine junkie, too. I just realized yesterday that
currently I am the only member in our family with exactly 0
    subscriptions. That’s not right…

I am a magazine junkie as well. I subscribe to Victoria, InStyle, Body
and Soul, Realm and Entertainment Weekly. I used to get Architectural
Digest but I got bored. Dwell looks amazing. Full of eye candy I bet.
    Count me in!
