We are going to a cookie party this weekend and I thought I would try making a coconut macaroon with Nutella and chopped almonds because why the heck not?! Experimenting in the kitchen is always a learning experience.
I didn’t really have a recipe, but I surfed the net and found all kinds of helpful tips and came up with my own concoction. The results aren’t particularly pretty, but they taste good and they got a thumbs up from the youngest critic in the house. I enjoyed a few with my afternoon cup of coffee and wanted more, but had to save the rest for the cookie party. Sigh.
I’ll be posting the recipe soon.
