This actually happened on a Saturday, but it’s such a big deal I’ve got to share. Both my girls are now official library card carrying San Franciscans. Do you remember when you got your first library card?

I showed you mine, now show me yours.
Share your city/town/suburb/you name it! Think of this as a photography carnival or photography meme (with or without words) that not only lets you share your part of the world, but lets you visit other parts of the world virtually. If you link up, please link back or post the Sundays In My City button either in your post or sidebar to let people know that other bloggers are sharing their communities too. Happy trails!

LIbrary Cards are to be celebrated! I grew up in a small town where I could (and would) ride my bike to our town library. The librarian knew everyone in town, including, and most importantly, the children. She helped guide many of us to great adventures through her guidance. Yay for library cards!

That is very exciting. My parents were not reader and I wasn’t much of a reader and I regret not pushing my children harder although our son was just born to read which thrills me!
