Font with dots

Do you fall in love with fonts? I do. Sometimes it’s love at first sight, sometimes a font slowly grows on me and becomes a favorite.

I’ve had a crush on the above font for quite sometime, but I didn’t know its name. I’d google “font with dots inside of letters”, but I’d find a font that is intended to save you on printer ink and I wanted one with dots that are intended just for aesthetic purposes. Finally, I asked two separate bloggers that I had seen use it and found out that it is called Budmo Jiggler. I immediately downloaded Budmo and started playing with him.

If you love fonts, you can download them onto your computer for free from various sites. Here are a couple:

  • Urban Fonts
  • dafont.com

And my personal favorite for handwritten fonts and you can even have your own handwriting turned into a font here, is:

  • kevinandamanda.com: fonts for peas

Font that looks like handwriting

The above font is called Pea Jack and Jane and is one of my preferred go-tos. I use the handwritten fonts all the time. I used one to make the header on this blog and I use one for the watermark on my photos.

So are you font-lover or do you just stick to the basics?

I really like the handwriting fonts and if you haven’t visited that site before, it’s great for blogging in general.

I have a few favorite fonts.  Years ago when word-processing was a bigger part of my daily life (reports nothing of much fun), I would seek out stylish fonts and fool around with them for awhile.  The wingdings font is a fun player but you can’t spell anything with it.

Oh there is a font similar to “the dots inside” one called Pfeffermintz.  You probably know people create fonts for a living.  Probably a lower-case living.

I love fonts , especially ones that look like real writing.  I wish I was better at figuring out how to use them though.

Isn’t it crazy!? The one that I said looks like mine, really does. I had a friend even ask me if I was photographing my writing and using it as pictures on my blog. Nope, there are just others out there that write similarly.

I guess I tend to stick to the basics.  Too lazy to do anything creative.

Thanks so much for this! I just typed in “font with dots in letters” and yours was the first result, exactly what I was looking for. Urban fonts looks like a great site. Very easy to download.

I’m so glad. I wrote the post because I had such a hard time finding the font with dots that I wanted to make it easier for other people. Happy new year.
