Happy Day of the Dead and Halloween Recap

Feliz Día de los Muertos! Celebrate your dearly departed and remember that death is a part of life.

075

077

Put Pie decided to be a lady bug and had a wonderful time trick or treating for the first time.

086

She also got to witness firsthand the perils of drinking and flying.

092

I don’t think she will ever be tempted to fly under the influence.

Oh what a cutie! I adore her hair.  Those are some fun photos – are any of the decorations yours?  The witch and the skeleton/grave are really cool 🙂

I love celebrating Dios de los Meurtos. I want my girls to know the traditions from there Dad’s side too. Mine is german and scottish so they have to be 21 before they can celebrate those traditions I guess. 🙂

I pledge to dress up with my girls next year!  Although I promise NEVER to be an adult that collects candy for themself.  Seriously, people did that this year… I could not believe it!
