Speed Hump

Is it me or is this sign a little suggestive? I mean, is it a warning or an order?

Most people see a sign post, I see a blog post.

We call them Speed Bumps in the UK, is that less suggestive?

That’s what we call them here too. I’ve never heard of them referred to as “humps” before. That’s why it caught me off guard.

Oddly, I see these signs frequently and have never given them a second thought.  Thanks a lot.  Now I’ll giggle every time I see them.  I see a greeting card with this on the front, how about you?

I have a picture I took in London of a sign that says “Humps 1/2 mi”. My friend and I cracked up when we saw it.
