I’m having one of those, “I can’t believe this is my life moments!” I’m on a plane headed to NY to cover an event that I will tell you about later. Me! Me? Me, the one with the messy home, beautiful children, and years of sleep-deprivation. The one who sometimes works from home in her pajamas all day.
I get an email last week saying something along the lines of…
Hey we have this event going on in NY and we’d like to invite you. Wanna come?
I write back, saying
Just want to make sure you know I’m in San Francisco.
They write back…
Yeah, we know. We gotcha covered.
So now I’m on a plane headed to one of my favorite cities in the world, where I get to cover a fun event, sleep in an awesome hotel, stop by the offices of Mamás Latinas (my new job), and write about the experiences later.
Now excuse me while I go watch an on-flight movie of my choice. Thank you Delta Airlines for having such good choices. I think I will go with Silver Linings Playbook.
