Looking Good From the Inside Out #NTGBeautifulInsideOut

#NTGBeautifulInsideOut

I’ve been using Neutrogena products since I was a teenager. Right now, I’m really into their Naturals line. It’s no surprise that when I was offered the opportunity to receive complimentary products and review them, I jumped at the chance.

My package arrived and was filled with an assortment of Neutrogena products that I was eager to try. Here’s the breakdown of what I received and what I think about each product.

  • Neutrogena Make-Up Remover Cleansing Towelettes. I’m going on a trip soon and these babies are coming with me. Great way to travel light and still be able to clean off my makeup.
  • Oil-Free Cleansing Wipes (Pink Grapefruit). These wipes are for acne-prone skin and lately I can’t seem to stop breaking out along my jawline. I’m hoping these will help clear up my skin especially if I use them to clean up after a workout. Wish me luck.
  • Neutrogena UltraSheer DryTouch Sunblock SPF 45. This sunblock is easy to blend and does not leave you with a white-cakey film. I would prefer that it were unscented, but I prefer unscented products in general.
    • Neutrogena Shine Control Primer. I have never used a primer before. I put the primer on as directed (right after moisturizer). It felt light and is intended to control shine with or without makeup without clogging pores. I’d say it did an excellent job. I had no shine, but my face did not feel dry.
    • Neutrogena Shine Control Makeup with SPF20. I rarely use liquid foundation anymore because it ends up feeling like film on my face. This foundation did not feel heavy at all. It helps even tone without looking like a mask. Bonus that it has SPF.
    • Neutrogena Shine Control Powder. I applied the powder after the foundation for a little added shine control. Again, even with primer, foundation, and powder I still didn’t feel like I had makeup caked on and I didn’t look like it either.
    • Neutrogena Crease Proof Eye Shadow. I can not stand it when eye shadow creases. It’s not a good look on anyone. This eye shadow is easy to apply and doesn’t crease. Truthfully, I’m not much of an eye shadow wearer so this will only be for special occasions where I want a little extra glamor.
    • Neutrogena Healthy Lengths Mascara. I love mascara. Love it! This mascara lengthens without clumps and makes your eyes pop. Love it!
    • Neutrogena MositureSmooth Color Stick. This was surprisingly my favorite. The texture is just exquisite and really does feel like it is moisturizing my lips. I received it in the Juicy Peach color which I never would have tried on my own and I’m so glad I did because it is a sheer and very flattering shade.

As I said, I was already a fan of and long time user of Neutrogena products. Trying out the above items just confirmed that Neutrogena makes quality products that make me feel and look good from the inside out. “Oil-Free Cleansing Wipes (Pink Grapefruit)” – actual grapefruit? Remember that old Cagney movie where a guy pushes a grapefruit in a girls face at breakfast? Who knew that was a facial treatment product?

        No, I don’t remember that movie…but, hey…free facial. Ha!

Shine control is something I’d love right now. Neutrogena is fairly popular here – but expensive. That package looks so attractive! I am still looking for the perfect “Kaajal” for my eyes – the sort that does not smudge.
