Inflatable Snow Family

Inflatable Snow Family on Stoop

We came across this inflatable snow family as we were leaving our friends’ home. I’m always touched when people decorate the outside of their homes for the holidays because I feel like they are presenting me with a gift even though they don’t know me at all. I appreciate it so much.

I’ve been brimming with appreciation because life has been full of fun, friends and family lately. We’ve been spending time with those we love, creating memories with our children that will hopefully always bring smiles to their faces. Laughter has been plentiful, food has been abundant and even strangers add to our joy by putting up decorations that are meant as a gift to all.

I take none of it for granted because I know that this time of year can be very hard for some. For those who have lost loved ones and are spending the holidays without them, I send you love. For those who are suffering and feeling alone, I send you love. For those whose spirits can’t be lifted by the mere sight of an inflatable snow family, I send you love. I may not know you, but that doesn’t stop me from sending you love.
