We made an impromptu stop at Pacifica State Beach to see if a friend was out surfing and he was. It was a foggy not too cold day, which made it perfect for a family stroll on the beach. Pacifica is about 15 miles south of San Francisco.

Really? I love it over there. I have a fondness for it because when hubby and I got married we could not afford a honeymoon and our coworkers pitched in and got us a hotel room for the weekend in Pacifica.
