PeaceLoveMom – A Celebration of Motherhood

SAY IT LOUD – I’M MOM AND I’M PROUD!

I had no idea what being a mother meant until I became one and you know what it means? It means whatever I want it to. I don’t have to follow anyone’s lead. I get to make my own rules. I can define my role as a Mami in my own way. This is by far the hardest work I have ever done, but I intend to make myself and my family proud.

I grew up celebrating Mother’s Day twice a year: American Mother’s Day and Mexican Mother’s Day. In the US Mother’s Day falls on the second Sunday of May and in Mexico Mother’s Day is always on May 10th. As you know, Mother’s Day is coming! I will be calling my mother on the 9th and wishing her a Happy Mother’s Day and on the 10th I will call and say, “Feliz Dia de las Madres!”

This year will be my 2nd year as an official Mami and I’ve already started celebrating thanks to a great company called, PeaceLoveMom. They are a company made up of Mom’s with a common goal of creating “a celebration of motherhood.”  They sent me this awesome T Shirt to review:

PeaceLoveMom

I don’t normally wear “message” T’s because I can’t get behind the message, but I can get behind this message ’cause you know that when Mami is happy, everyone in the familia is feeling the peace and love. The T’s shirt is awesome: soft, thin, and comfy. I dig it!

PeaceLoveMom carries all sorts of wonderful goodies for moms and babies. Check them out and take advantage of their Mother’s Day promotion: Get a FREE tote & FREE shipping with a purchase of $75 or more! Use code MOM10.

PeaceLoveMom wants to help me make another Mom happy so they said I could give one of my readers this cool T:
PFM02W

If you are a mother and want to win this T-shirt or you know a mother that you would like to give this T-shit to, here’s what to do:

Required Entry: Leave me a comment saying that you want the t-shirt for yourself or someone else.

For Extra Entries: (Once you’ve done the required entry, you may do as many of the following as you like.) You must leave a separate comment for each entry (i.e. 1 comment = 1 entry, 2 comments = 2 entries).

  • Visit PeaceLoveMom and pick a favorite item (other than a t-shirt) – 1 entry
  • Follow me publicly with Google Friend Connect or tell me you are already a follower – 1 entry
  • Tell me what you’ll be doing for Mother’s Day – 1 entry
  • Call your mom – 1 entry
  • Follow one of my followers: visit them, follow them, tell them I sent you, then come back and tell me whom you are following. You can do this up to 3 times. Mix it up, don’t just follow the people in the front of the list – 1 entry per follow up to 3 times (leave separate comments for each entry)

You have until 10pm PST on May 10, 2010 to enter. 1 winner will be randomly selected. I will email the winner and they will have 48 hours to respond to the notification email, or a new winner will be chosen. Open to Continental US residents.

I received the black T-shirt pictured above to review and the white T-shirt is being provided for the giveaway. There was no other compensation. These are my honest opinions. For full disclosure policy, click HERE.
