Puerto Alegre restaurant in the Mission District of San Francisco, CA will always have a special place in my heart. It has been the scene for many a good meal with many a good friend. Not to mention, the margaritas NEVER disappoint. On our sixth wedding anniversary it was a pleasure to enjoy lunch and toast to our future there. I’ve been going to this place since I was 21. I am 42-years-old now and I still love it and now my kids love it too.

Fresh guacamole and margaritas… sounds wonderful. Happy Anniversary.
Taking pictures of food is not easy sometimes. Good captures. I wanted to join in!
Yummy! Now I am hungry for Mexican food
What a fabulous place to eat! We are making a big pot of chili this afternoon to enjoy a football game on TV. The highlight of my week! heehee!
Wow. I just ate, and I don’t drink, but you mademe want those chips AND the margarita! 🙂
Happy Anniversary, Claudya! Those photos are so cozy and feel-good! Hugs!
Never mind the margarita, that guacamole is calling to me.
Enjoy.

That literally made my mouth water. First the salsa and chips, then the margarita. YUMMM!!!
Happy Anniversary! Gosh, I need to go get some guacamole, chips and salsa NOW.
I’m going to Yelp and bookmark this restaurant for my visit to Frisco next year. I went to college in the Bay Area and I’m long overdue for a visit!
Happy Anniversary!
Yummy! I really have to find a good authentic Mexican restaurant here as I am having withdrawals and it is just not the same when you have to do the cooking yourself.
Looks delicious! Happy Anniversary 🙂
Wonderful margaritas, I love these pictures!
Mexican food is one of the things I’m looking forward to having back in the US. There just isn’t any here (one of the few negatives here). That salsa has my mouth watering!!
