Margarita with salt on rimPuerto Alegre restaurant in the Mission District of San Francisco, CA will always have a special place in my heart. It has been the scene for many a good meal with many a good friend. Not to mention, the margaritas NEVER disappoint. On our sixth wedding anniversary it was a pleasure to enjoy lunch and toast to our future there. I’ve been going to this place since I was 21. I am 42-years-old now and I still love it and now my kids love it too.

I showed you mine, now show me yours.

I’m going to Yelp and bookmark this restaurant for my visit to Frisco next year. I went to college in the Bay Area and I’m long overdue for a visit!

Yummy! I really have to find a good authentic Mexican restaurant here as I am having withdrawals and it is just not the same when you have to do the cooking yourself.

Mexican food is one of the things I’m looking forward to having back in the US. There just isn’t any here (one of the few negatives here). That salsa has my mouth watering!!
