Diversity On Demand: Hispanic Heritage Month #Giveaway

Diversity_On_Demand_Hispanic_Heritage_MonthSeptember 15–October 15 is Hispanic Heritage Month and I invite you, regardless of your background, to celebrate. I celebrate diversity and my Latino heritage all year long. Part of why I love living in San Francisco is because of its fabulous multiculturalism, if I want diversity all I have to do is walk out my front door and I get it, on demand. That’s not necessarily the case everywhere and it most certainly isn’t always the case when it comes to entertainment choices. That’s why I’m excited to tell you about the partnering of the nation’s top cable companies and the League of United Latin American Citizens (LULAC) in order to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month by highlighting the powerful and positive influence of Latinos in the U.S.A.

During Hispanic Heritage Month I encourage you to visit the Diversity on Demand Facebook app, Nada or Aficionado?

There you can take a Latino entertainment quiz to see where you land on a scale of nada to aficionado. Don’t worry if you’re not good at quizzes, you can enter to win a 32” smart HDTV regardless of your score. I took the quiz and I may have gotten a perfect 3 out of 3 on the quiz, I may also have been guessing at all 3 of the questions.

You can visit the Diversity on Demand Facebook page throughout the year to find out about multicultural movies and TV shows being offered. During Hispanic Heritage month Diversity On Demand will have some fantastic, relevant, factual, and Latino-themed entertainment, including a couple of my favorite movies: Volver and Motorcycle Diaries (I may own both of them).
