Rainy Day Joy (Sundays In My City)

Rainy day in San FranciscoIt’s raining in San Francisco, which is a good thing. California needs the rain. When I was a child, I wanted one of those clear umbrellas that you could see through. Now that I’m an adult, I have one and brings out the kid in me.

I showed you mine, now show me yours.

Share your city/town/suburb/you name it! Think of this as a photography carnival or photography meme (with or without words) that not only lets you share your part of the world, but lets you visit other parts of the world virtually. If you link up, please link back or post the Sundays In My City button either in your post or sidebar to let people know that other bloggers are sharing their communities too. Happy trails!

Let’s travel the world together!

When linking up please add the URL to your actual post NOT your homepage. Do this by clicking the title of your post after you hit publish, an extended URL will come up in the address bar, paste that URL into the Linky form.

I heard about the drought in California. I am glad you are getting much-needed rain. I love the shot. I have no luck with rain photographs.

Love to watch the rain! As a kid…as a teenager I yearned for those clear umbrellas after seeing them in a movie…still yearning 😀

Lots of rain over here, so much that it is coming through the floors in some areas of the country. Thanks for hosting and Happy Sunday xx

A lot of heavy grey clouds – some hanging very low – but still no rain yet (Southern CA)! Yes, we do need rain desperately!

clear umbrella – no excuse for bumping into people and things during the rain. Wasn’t there a romantic comedy or two that had people bumping into a relationship because of umbrellas?

I’ve always wanted one of those clear umbrellas. And I love so much that yours is “outlined” in yellow. That makes it beyond perfect!

Hey how do feel about multiple comments from the same follower on the same post? I don’t mind and hope you don’t either.
I just did a post that had me translating el rojo grande. My initial guess was right but I just want to check. Since you have help with Spanish over the years I thought you might enjoy it.

I’ve always wanted a clear umbrella like this too but haven’t gotten around to buying one. I certainly wouldn’t mind more rainy days here in Cali.
