Frida Kahlo (Sundays In My City)

Frida Kahlo painted on the sidewalk

Frida Kahlo on the sidewalk of the MissionMy family and I were walking around the Mission District when who do we bump into, or more like walk over, on the sidewalk? None other than Frida Kahlo herself. Viva la vida!
San Francisco, CA.

I showed you mine, now show me yours.

Share your city/town/suburb/you name it! Think of this as a photography carnival or photography meme (with or without words) that not only lets you share your part of the world, but lets you visit other parts of the world virtually. If you link up, please link back or post the Sundays In My City button either in your post or sidebar to let people know that other bloggers are sharing their communities too. Happy trails!

Let’s travel the world together!

Did she tweeze her brows for this mural? I recall her as having more of the unibrow look.

Sorry I couldn’t participate this week. I read a wonderful book about Frida – it was call Lacuna by Barbara Kingslover. She was a very interesting lady.

Those are so beautiful, such talent in the artist. I have to say I loved the movie with Salma Hayek, she did an amazing job in it.
